Camper Registration begins at 6:15pm
Event begins promptly at 6:30pm

Family Reading Night is the grand finale of our week-long celebration of reading, and an opportunity for students to explore genres of writing and information resources as a way to map and achieve their goals.

We are looking for volunteers to help foster the concept that Reading is FUNdamental for our students' success!

This year's theme is a Camp-Out, and we've got a lot of fun activities planned for the night:

  • Student-led campsites

  • Activities

  • Silly Campfire Stories

  • Indoor S'Mores!

  • Book Swap

  • Raffle Drawing

The Book Swap is a great opportunity for students to donate books they no longer want and pick out a new adventure to read!

During Reading Week (March 5th - 8th), students can bring in their new and gently used books for donation to the book swap. Books should be placed in the appropriate bin outside the library.

Books should be appropriate for K-5 students, and in new or gently used condition (no rips, tears, stains, coloring or writing on the pages, etc).

Please do not send coloring books, activity books, sticker books, or board books.

With each donated book, please include a slip of paper that includes your student's NAME, GRADE, and TEACHER, They will be entered into a Family Reading Night Raffle!
